For recreation, it's hard to top our location in the almost perfect year-round weather, combined with the convergence of the Atlantic ocean, Winyah Bay, and the Sampit, Black, Waccamaw and Big Pee Dee rivers. Intercoastal waterways offer numerous boating and fishing opportunities, one of the main public boat launching facilities located at the end of our very own South Island Road.
