Four completely restored 16th farmhouses are available for rent, each tastefully furnished with beautiful antiques and all the modern conveniences. Each structure is independent, thus making it perfect for individual families or larger groups up to 15 persons. The estate offers the perfect natural and peaceful setting with many things to do. The surrounding woodland is an ideal haven for the numerous wild animals. Relax amidst the hares, pheasants, wild-boars, roe-bucks, badgers, bald-coots, or wild ducks. Enjoy the scenic views of the surrounding gardens and vineyards or relax at the estate lake. Picnic in the wooden chalet and patio area. Trek the paths of the surrounding woodland or jog through the countryside. Hire an estate mountian bike to explore the area. Nearby, horseback riding and golf are available. Ride in a hot air balloon. Visit the local thermal area for a relaxing thermal bath. Enjoy a vigorous game of tennis at the estate tennis courts or leisurely pass the day sunbathing at the large estate swimming pool. The local shops and facilities of San Gimignano is only 11 kms away. 'Farmhouse Acaciana' sets in the hillside dominating the tennis court. It is an unusual building because originally it was a terracotta and brick factory. At the lower level where the tennis court is situated, the house offers a playhouse for children. The house has two separate entrances. The main entrance is from a paved, furnished terrace from the level above the tennis court. A path leads from the terrace down to the tennis court. Entrance is into a small living room with an open arch that leads into the livable kitchen that offers gas range and fridge. A flight of stairs leads from the living room to the first floor landing. A door in the landing opens into a single bedroom. A second door in the landing opens into a small but complete bathroom with shower (ideal for children). A third door opens into another single bedroom with a door, that in turn, opens down 1 step into a spacious double bedroom with fireplace. A single bed can be added on request in this bedroom. A door in the double bedroom opens onto a short flight of stairs that lead up to a landing with door on the right to a complete bathroom with shower. A door on the left of the landing opens outside onto a small loggia from which, up a few steps is the lawn that is at the same level as the other houses. Therefore, the double bedroom has its own access without having to go through the single bedroom first. This house has electric panel heating. It is simply but comfortably furnished.
