Our unique character pole house and cottages are set amidst lush sub-tropical gardens and they are tastefully furnished with antiques, colonial furniture and ethnic works of art from your hosts extensive travels. Wander through our orchard, have a drink in our tranquil zen-garden to the sound of running water and bird song. Wallow in our tree-fern edged plunge pool, swimming pool or you can book (for a fee of $5 per person) our special "Under the Stars" Therapy Spa for a relaxing massage in the "16 jet hot-seat".
BREAKFAST: an optional extra, can be provided in all accommodations at a time of your choice. It may include organic orange juice, home made muesli, fruit, yogurt, home baked organic breads and muffins, hot french croissants and preserves, local honey, cheese and pungent plunger coffee or tea. $10.00 pp

Additional information
A completely self contained charming cottage of 78 square metres on its own section of land. It is made of native timbers and tastefully furnished with colonial native timber and antique furniture, and well as rimu fitted, floors kitchen and bathroom. It has a well equipped kitchen, a dining area, a sitting room with pot belly fireplace, spiral fountain, television, video, casette player and radio. The spacious main bedroom has a new queen-size bed,(electric blanket) and a stained glass door leading on to a North facing balcony (which in this hemisphere is a sunny one!). The cottage and balcony overlook large tree ferns and pungas beyond a grassed area. It is secluded and private, the only noise being that of birdsong. Above the sitting room is a mezzanine floor which has a King-sized bed, or, if required, 2 single beds. The bathroom is also of native timber fittings with a shower and mini Chubb bath. The cottage is suitable for a couple or up to four people.
LOCATION:
We are an eight minute walk from Coromandel Town, right off the main roads in a peaceful bush garden and orchard setting.
LOCAL ATTRACTIONS:
These include: the Driving Creek Railway, coastal and kauri grove walks, lovely bays and swimming beaches, areas and walks of special scenic beauty, only reached from this side of the peninsula, museums and craft trails. There are a good choice of quality restaurants and cafes, excellent fishing, a golf course and gardens as well as boat trips. A round trip can encompass Hot Water Beach and Cathedral Cove. Coromandel town is an authentic historical gold mining town, full of character and a good base to explore the whole of the peninsula.
