Property description
Donalea is a grand old 1920's home which has been lovingly restored and opened its doors as a Bed & Breakfast in August 2003. We provide modern facilities whilst retaining features of a bygone era.
Enjoy a complimentary Devonshire Tea on arrival, before retiring to one of two beautifully furnished bedrooms, both with Queen sized beds and Ensuites (one in room Spa Bath). Electric blankets, Hairdryers, TV's and Videos are all supplied in the large rooms.
Relax in front of the log fire in the guest lounge while watching a Video or DVD with a cuppa or just read one of the many books and magazines provided in a private sun/reading room.
A generous continental breakfast with home made Breads, Muffins and Pikelets is provided in the dining room or on the front balcony overlooking the gardens to the Huon River.

Donalea is located in the heart of the Huon Valley among the apple orchards, 40 minutes south of Hobart and is close to the Tahune Airwalk, Hastings Caves and south west national park.
We are 15 minutes South of Huonville and located in Castle Forbes Bay, between Franklin and Geeveston.
Large off street car parking is provided.
