Alpenhaus Pfister is situated in the Alpine village of Fügen, in Austria.
The house is on a quiet street and has a large garden.
In the skiing season the bus stops just 100m away.
The Alpine village Fügen lies in the valley Zillertal, an area of Austria called the Tyrol. The valley Zillertal is 35 km long and 1.5 km at the widest point. The river Ziller runs through the valley and Mayerhofen and Hintertux ( here it is possible to ski on the glacier even during the summer) are two well known towns in the area. From Jenbach, which is in Inntal, it is possible to take the steam train through Zillertal. The end station is Mayerhofen.

Fügen has approximately 3000 residents and lies 560 m above sea level. Surrounding the village are high mountains with peaks above 2000 m. Starting from Fügen are 2 ski areas: Spieljoch and Hochfügen.
- To Spieljoch there is cable car from the village operating all year round.
- To Hochfügen buses operate. The lift card includes transportation on all lifts and busses in the valley.
The Speiljoch area has magnificent hiking trails. Large backpacks are not necessary, water can be taken from streams and there are several restaurants at convenient distances from each other.

Additional information

Fügen is a genuine Tyrolean mountain village. There is a church, many different shops and banks as well as 2 discos.
Bicycles can be hired locally to enjoy the beautiful views along the bicycle tracks along the river Ziller.
Both winter and summer skiing is possible. In the summer at Hintertux (3000m).
Fügen is well worth a visit in all seasons and any time of the year. There many more things to do than we have mentioned here.
