Property description
This elegant B&B in historic downtown Staunton, VA has been referred to by some guests as "an oasis right in downtown." In addition to the main house which has 3 guest rooms, a TV lounge, a front parlor, and the dining room, there is a separate building. The 150-year-old Carriage House, located well back of the main house, was just recognized for excellence by Historic Staunton Foundation for the renovation and restoration of this historic building, which is now a luxurious, 2-story B&B suite.
Multi-course, gourmet breakfasts are a special event at this B&B.
There are several gardens being developed, including a very large, formal water garden.
Guests can enjoy privacy and quiet and yet walk to everything in downtown. There is also a free trolley which circles around the town.
