A Memorable Experience Bed and Breakfast and new cottage sit in a park like setting overlooking Beautiful Homer, Alaska with spectacular views of Kachemak Bay and the mountains and glaciers beyond. This lovely accommodation offers incredible birding and hiking right outside your front door with all the comforts of home.
The B&B offers two spacious and comfortable rooms. Each room in the B&B has a large private bath, king size bed and day bed, TV VCR, private deck and entrance. The common area has satellite TV and Music. There is a gorgeous lawn with beautiful gardens and a spectacular views from everyroom.
For large groups the roomy common area will also sleep 2 comfortably so groups of up to 8 can be accommodated in the B&B. A kitchenette and freezer space is handy for those coming home from a day's fishing.
Your stay includes an exceptional continental breakfast and a $10 food voucher per room at the Fresh Sourdough Express Bakery and Café. The breakfast includes, homemade organic granola, fresh baked breads and pastries, fruit, Organic fresh brewed coffee, cocoa, tea and juice.
Hosts Donna & Kevin Maltz have been serving Homer visitors since 1982 and can help you plan your stay in the “Hamlet by the Sea”. Proprietors of the famous Fresh Sourdough Express Bakery and Café, they specialize in catering weddings, anniversaries, birthdays and gatherings of all sorts, sleeping up to 12 and catering parties up to 100. New in 2004! We have added a private cottage next to the B&B. This deluxe darling cottage is nearly 600 square feet, has a full kitchen, and magnificent views of Kachemak Bay. There is TV, VCR, and satellite. This cottage sleeps up to 5 people.
