Additional information

The Inner Harbour is at the heart of enchanting Victoria. This special area helps define the essence of Victoria. This little Eden embraces the Empress Hotel, Parliament Buildings, and the Harbour Promenade

It was near here, at Fort Street, Fort Victoria began in 1843. Here, on the lawns of Parliament is where the Queen speaks to us, with her Royal Yacht at berth in the Harbour, when she is out at "the western edge of Empire".

Here most major events begin, such as Marathon races; major events happen, such as up to one hundred thousand Victorians gathering for Seaside Symphony, or fireworks.

The Inner Harbour is also home to The Royal B.C. Museum, Wax Museum, Undersea Gardens, Miniature World, boat moorage, shops, Coho Ferry to Port Angeles, Washington State.
