Abbey Manor has 9 rooms, 5 Grande rooms, and 4 Luxury. All rooms are en-suite, have air-conditioning 8 channels of TV, coffee and tea facilities, and have been uniquely decorated. There is a broadband wireless Internet network throughout the house, and a laptop can be loaned if wished.
Grande rooms are very large, and each has a unique feature, such as a balcony, private garden, or a bath with a matchless view. Luxury rooms are to the standard of a 5 star hotel room.
Abbey Manor is an historical building, now 100 years old, which has been lovingly restored to its former glory, while adding the best that modern technology and comfort can offer. It is probably the only property in the City Bowl that has a true 360-degree view: the entire mountain range, the harbour, and the distant Hottentots Holland mountains, which are covered in snow in winter.
Breakfast is supplied by a qualified chef, to 5 star standards.
The swimming pool area is secluded, and the pool is heated, meaning that guests can swim in all but a few months of the year. Being close to the City Centre means that all of Cape Town is easily available, with effortless access to the Waterfront, the beaches, the Conference Centre; the peninsula and all points north.
