Spacious, airy rooms, bathed in light, with tasteful decor provide a tranquil and luxurious retreat.
The house was designed and built by owners Ron and Gill Taskes in such a way as to allow every room in the house (even the open-plan kitchen) to have a beautiful view of the sea or the mountains. Wooden decks and private verandas enhance these views – perfect for sunrises and sundowners.
Tranquillity Guest house has four bedrooms to offer, each with their own distinctive charm and character.
Honeymoon Sea View Suite
This romantic suite offers magnificent views across False Bay and the Fish Hoek valley. Walk out onto the private, wooden veranda where you can watch whales and ships in the Bay. At night you can watch the silver moon rise over an indigo sea.
Mountain View Suite
The large windows of this comfortable suite overlook the mountain; look out and see the morning sun on mountain crags and fynbos flowers. From the nature reserve, the bird calls of the Cape Francolin and Robin announce the start of another day in this beautiful, coastal paradise.

Self-Catering Suite
This stylish suite offers luxurious comfort and spectacular views of both the sea and the mountains. It has its own private entrance and a self-catering kitchenette. Double wooden doors open onto a veranda that overlooks False Bay and Fish Hoek Valley.
The bathroom en-suite has both shower and bath.
The Loft Suite
This spectacular queen-bed suite is set high up in the heavens with breathtaking, elevated, three hundred and sixty degree views of the sea and the mountains. Open the French doors lie back and soak in the views. Watch the sun rise as it peeks over the Hottentots Holland Mountains bathing the ocean in its pre-dawn light. With its own private entrance it is a delightful get away in the sky. This suite has a day bed perfect for an afternoon sleep in the sun or to accommodate one child:

Whale watching can be enjoyed from the veranda and most rooms in the house.
Birding: Black Eagle, Cape Eagle owl, African Fish eagle, Rock kestrel, Francolins, Cape Robin and others can all be spotted from the mountain deck.
In winter, relax at the fireside.
