Salmon Arm is a town of 16,000 and is located in the heart of the Shuswap recreation area, midway between Calgary and Vancouver. Salmon Arm is on the south shore of Shuswap Lake and has a mild climate. Entertainment is provided year round, including live theatre, hiking, water skiing and golfing in the summer and cross-country skiing, Snowmobiling and carnivals in the winter.
Sicamous is a community of 4400 offering the wonderful recreational activities of the Shuswap district. The sandy beaches are safe and clean and the many hiking trails and cycling trails are prefect for your 'back to nature' adventure. Don't forget the great snowmobile trails and fabulous alpine terrain for skiing challenges. This is houseboat country (possibly the largest fleet you will ever see!) adding to your perfect family vacation spot.
