'Rosewoods' is a charmingly furnished two storey colonial home under thatch in the 'Country Cottage' idiom. With one double plus one single bedroom, and extensive reception space, 'Rosewoods' is appropriate for individuals desirous of sequestered tranquility and spacious comfort. All rooms have verdant garden views, with appealing vistas of Table Mountain through the trees.
Downstairs there is an entrance hall, guest cloakroom, sitting room, dining room and kitchen. The sitting room lies directly open to a high-beamed thatch roof and includes a unique stone inglenook fireplace and colour TV. The dining room is adjacent to the lounge and opens out onto a patio, beneath a creeper covered trellis. The spacious kitchen has been restored to an authentic 'fifties' country style. The latter includes stove, fridge, microwave and washing machine. The cupboards contain all necessary utilities, including fine cutlery and crockery.
Upstairs are two sunny bedrooms, library-study and bathroom (bath with shower). The main bedroom has a cottage style Victorian brass & iron double bed, and the second bedroom contains a teak Arts-and-Crafts single bed. The library-study opens onto an upstairs verandah.

Apart from the delightful grounds themselves, spectacular views are afforded of Table Mountain’s majestic crags. A large secluded swimming pool with exclusive rose & woodland-fringed croquet lawn completes the tranquil scene.
Daily maid service is standard. Breakfast can be organised by arrangement. An independent caterer is available for pre-prepared meals, cocktail parties and small dinner parties etc. We regret no smoking (inside) or pets allowed (except guide-dogs). Internet connection and fax are available. Off-street parking exists; garaged where possible.
