This 4 bedroom camp is newly renovated to a very high standard and located only 1/2 hour from Camden/Rockport and Penobscot Bay. The house sits on newly landscaped grounds just steps away from pristine Washington Lake. Two fully screened porches (downstairs and upstairs) face the lake, as does the wooden deck with gas barbeque. Inside the great room with new Southern white pine floors and a working brick fireplace connects to a new full kitchen with granite counters, dishwasher, washer/dryer, stove, fridge, etc. Just off the kitchen is the breakfast nook. All rooms have great views of the lake. Off the great room is a carpeted bedroom/sitting room with satellite TV and video and its own access to the screened porch. Completing the first floor is a full bath.
Up the carpeted stairs are three newly renovated, bedrooms, all fully carpeted, and a second full bath. All bedrooms have access to the second screened porch and beautiful views of the lake. From here our family sees bald eagles, loons, hummingbirds, and more. The home is modern and very relaxing. It comfortably sleeps eight.
Just outside a short walk across the lawn is the beach. The swimming to our private raft is clean and peaceful with comfortable water access and a sandy area. On the dock we keep the outboard aluminum boat, a paddle boat, and a canoe. The fishing is very good, and most people spend the whole day at the beach or in the lake.
This camp is one of the nicest in the area and usually rents early in the season.
