This is no ordinary Old West award winning Victorian B&B. Built in 1895 by Gus & Caroline Thayer with funding from the Soo line Rail Road, completely renovated, listed on the National Historic Register and furnished with authentic antiques, the setting is historic and beautiful. All 11 fine Luxury guestrooms have antiques you can sit on and private baths. A full breakfast is included with every stay but, that is not the best part.
Thayer’s takes pride in offering an extra ordinary B&B experience with exceptional service, food, and ghosts. Offering unique entertainment like Ghost Hunting Packages, interactive Murder Mystery dinners and psychic readings with gifted psychic, Thayer’s owner, Sharon Gammell makes a stay at Thayer’s fun and exciting as well as informative. The two friendly house kitties, Miss Sadie Cat and Mr. Tennessee enjoy gentle attention and petting. Thayer’s has many enchanted guests that stop in to visit along with three ghost kitties. In October of 2004, Minnesota Paranormal Researchers agreed, Thayer’s is haunted.
