Total privacy with no shared facilities. And after a peaceful night's sleep you can enjoy a gourmet mountain breakfast without leaving your room. In fact, there's no need to see another guest your entire stay - if that's what you choose.
Melba house is an elegant Edwardian Federation home that was built in 1905
with beautifully decorated plaster ceilings and woodwork. We love living
here and sharing it with our guests.

Rates details: The Lawson Suite which has a shower in the ensuite bathroom would be, $195 per night midweek )Monday-Thurs inclusive) and $210 per night on Friday, Saturday or Sunday.
The Deluxe Spa Suites both have spa bathrooms including a shower and beautiful old wood-burning fireplaces and are $240 per night per couple.
If your stay includes a Saturday night then there is a minimum stay of two nights
These prices include a hot Australian 4 course gourmet breakfast each morning, and afternoon tea on arrival. Each suite has its own private lounge and dining area, a fridge, CD and DVD player, television and tea and
coffee-making facilities. Also included are a complimentary bowl of fruit, home-made biscuits and a decanter of port for you to enjoy whilst staying with us.
We do have a Midweek Special. If you stay any three consecutive nights midweek, any time from Monday night until Friday morning, you only pay for 2 nights. That means in the Lawson Suite it would be $390 instead of $585 and in a Spa Suite it would be $480 instead of $720.

A short stroll will take you many galleries, antique and craft shops and some of New South Wales most celebrated restaurants.. Also, close to the best-loved attractions of Katoomba and Leura. Blue Mountains World Heritage bush walks abound, some only 400m away. We also operate a complimentary pick-up service from Katoomba train station.
