Stephanie and Nicholas Ward welcome you to 'La Ferme de La Chaume' where we offer B&B and gîte accommodation in our tastefully restored 18th century farmhouse. We are within walking distance of the restaurants, bars and amenities of the ancient market town of Sauzé - Vaussais. We border - Deux Sèvres, Charente and Vienne which means we are ideally positioned for your holiday touring the numerous sights and attractions of the region, or for property hunters who need to be in a central location.
Our accommodation is comfortable and spacious and will suit most travellers - families, couples and singles. All rooms overlook the pretty 1 acre limestone walled gardens with extending views over the beautiful rolling countryside.Our accommodation caters for 2-8 people which makes us the ideal choice for both large and small parties.
We have a 1 bedroom gite 'Le Marronier' which has a double bed, sofa bed and bunk beds (if required). The bedroom is spacious and the limestone walls extend to the original oak roof beams. There is a fully equipped kitchen with gas cooker, microwave oven, fridge/freezer and oak dining table.
The farmhouse offers B&B accommodation - 1 double room and 1 twin room both with en suite shower facilities. There is a spacious lounge and dining area with tea and coffee making facilities for the comfort of our guests. All rooms, including bedrooms have views over the 1 acre gardens.
For the pleasure and comfort or our guests there is an outdoor swimming pool, table tennis, numerous games, gas barbecue and plenty of wooden garden tables, chairs and parasols around the garden.

La Ferme is within walking distance (300m) of all local amenities: shops, bars, restaurants and banks which means a car is not an essential factor to your visit.
We are in the middle of the Poitou - Charentes which allows our guests easy access to all of the attractions of the region - there is an abundance of chateaux, abbeys, impressive rivers, visit the Cognac distilleries or the Marais Poitevin - a network of canals otherwise known as 'Green Venice'. There are zoos, animal parks, inland lakes for swimming and watersports and the Atlantic beaches are just over an hour from us.
We are on the border of 3 contrasting departments, Deux Sevres, Charente and Vienne which means you can enjoy differing views of rural France.
