Rio Bay Guesthouse is a private guesthouse (bed & breakfast) located in a charming villa in the bay of Guanabara, a central, historical and residential neighbourhood which is considered as one of the safest and most peaceful places of Rio.

As long time travellers we have a good feeling of what is needed to make a place special, with character, giving you the feeling of being at home...

We open our house for independent travellers who want to experience a different kind of accomodation, appreciate hotel comfort and service combined with a personal touch, are interested to get in contact with the local people, discover the Brazilian culture and get local insight into the city (instead of being stuck in the typical touristic circuit), take part in the Brazilian lifestyle and meet and share experiences with other travellers.
