Property description
Scalise b&b is a federation's system that has a different properties in the center of Rome, exactly close to S. Peter square- Vatican, like B&B, hotels, holiday house and apartments and other resorts for tourist and not only. On this web site you will find a lovely Scalise B&B in Viale Giulio Cesare 151, a nice holiday house " Casa per Vacanze Castel S'Angelo " and a big apartment up for 8 persons.
Our properties are situated nearby S Peter square, walking distance for Vaticam museum and the Sistine Chapel, Castel S. Angelo and the other important sites of our beautifull city.
Beside, our B&B is adjacent to Via Cola di Rienzo and Via Ottaviano well-know ways of roman shopping, where you can make good businnesses in the end of season sales, when you can buy the most famous trade mark clothings, (I mean Prada, Valentino, Armani etc.) very cheaply.
In this area there are also very qualified restaurants where you can taste the true roman and other region cooking. This side of the city is inhabited by VIP, specialy by governament official, is for this that it is very safe.
We are not too far from Trastevere, the caratheristic quarter of Rome, where you can find a lot of kind of people, from all over the world and where life never stops till sunshine's light.
Our rooms are large, more wide then hotel's ones and look like more the small apartment then simple rooms. Inside you will find the refrigeretor, satellite set TV, a private bathroom with shower. On demand you can have also a nice room equipped with a Kitchenette, very confortable specialy for longer stay, so you have not to go outside for eatings even when not agreable.
The furnishing is simple, pratical but of quality.
In some room there is a vaulted roof.
Beside we offer to our guest, included in the price, air conditioning, heating, linen and towels clean and new.
HOW TO ARRIVE :
BY PUBBLIC TRANSPORT
 From Termini railway station: underground A and get off at Stop Ottaviano-San Pietro (cost 1 euro).
 From Tiburtina railway station: underground B to Termini railway station, there change and take the underground A and after get off at the stop Ottaviano-San Pietro (cost 1 euro).
 From Fiumicino airport take shuttle train (cost 10 euro) till to Termini railway station, then take the underground A till to the stop Ottaviano-San Pietro (cost 1 euro).
 From Ciampino airport take shuttle bus (cost 6 euro) to Termini railway station and then take the underground A till to the stop Ottaviano-San Pietro (cost 1 euro).
 Nearby bus lines:
19 - 23 - 32 - 40 - 70 - 81 - 271 - 280 - 490 - 913 - 982(cost 1 euro).
BY CAR
Travelling by car: follow signs indicating S.Peter square or Vatican;coming from outside Rome:get "Raccordo anulare" (circular road surronding Rome)and search and get the entrance "VIA AURELIA", a road leading to S.Peter Square.
It is possible to leave car in a public park on the street(cost of the ticket: 1 euro each hour from 8.00 am to 20.00 pm and free during the night) or in a private park near the B&B(cost 18 euro per night).
