This lovely holiday apartment is in the charming old town of Beaucaire, gateway to Provence and Languedoc in the south of France. Its large private terrace faces the River Rhône, with a view of the castle of Tarascon in Provence, just across the river. The handsome stone building was originally a rich merchant's mansion, named Hôtel du Luxembourg.
Recently renovated and decorated with original art work, the apartment is quiet and sunny with 5 m (16 ft) high ceilings. It consists of three bedrooms, a living room, a recently renovated kitchen/dining room with seating for seven fully equipped with crockery, pots and pans etc, plus a bathroom and separate toilet. The spacious terrace, set out with potted plants, has a table and chairs for eight, shaded by two umbrellas. A great place to relax! Amenities include a home office with unlimited broadband ADSL and WIFI Internet access, washing machine, microwave, dishwasher, TV, VCR, DVD and stereo. Sheets and towels are provided.
