Your private suite (700 sf) is reached by an outdoor entrance. Step into a large living room and dining area, reading room and solitude. As cosy as it is inside, there's lots of activities available outside all year round. Paddle one of our canoes or paddleboat around Sand Lake, explore the canals and search for loons and moose. Or take one of our bikes on the Coastal Trail and watch for breeching whales. Sit a spell on the patio or in the swinging chair (from a tree) and feel the peacefulness engulf you. No matter what month it is, A Lakeside B&B is always in season!
A Lakeside B&B is located on the shores of Sand Lake, 8 minutes from Anchorage International Airport, 15-20 minutes from Downtown Anchorage and the train station, 45-60 minutes from Girdwood and Portage Glacier, 60 minutes from the Mat-Su Glacier.
We are close to bike and world-class ski trails, a grocery store, drycleaner, 10 minutes from a large shopping mall and movie theatres, and 30 seconds from Mother Nature.
