We rent our entire, 3000 square foot, stunning B&B near San Ramon, Costa Rica weekly and monthly during certain times of the year. Set in the hills near San Ramon that the Tico Times calls "the Tuscany or Provence of Central America," this six bedroom, five bathroom, completely remodeled (in 2005) farm house has all modern conveniences and can accommodate up to 15 people. It is a great place for family reunions, weddings, small corporate retreats, "girls' getaways," and more. Suitable for small families and large, extended families and also a terrific place for groups of friends wanting an inexpensive getaway and base for exploring Costa Rica on a weekly basis or longer. Also terrific for couples retiring to Costa Rica and in need of a long term rental during housing construction, etc.

Features

Completely remodeled in 2005, it includes custom handmade furniture by a local craftsman, terrific hot water showers, chef's kitchen complete with all amenities, satellite TV, DVD/VHS, personal DVD players, games, horses, chickens and maybe even our dogs! Also has storage room. Large living/dining area. All on one level so handicapped friendly. Also includes fresh bed linens imported from the United States, blankets, pillows, towels, and more. Perfect weather means no AC or heat required!

Setting and Things to Do

Set on 100 acres with incredible views. Area includes great hiking trails, rivers, 4 waterfalls, and colorful, friendly locals! Great restaurant and karaoke bar within walking distance (but far enough away so no noise). The farm house is only 4km to San Ramon (you can drive—takes 10 minutes or use the local bus), a wonderful town of 30,000 people, complete with movie theaters, dining, shopping, supermarkets, bars and clubs, and much more.

Only 40 minutes to the international airport near San Jose, a stunning 1-hour drive to the famous Arenal Volcano and 1.5 hours to the Pacific ocean. 10 minutes to the famous “Los Angeles Cloud Forest” for nature hikes, horseback riding, zip-ling and other activities. Area also features several swimming parks and waterfalls, a zoo and many family-oriented activities.
