The chalet sleeps 6-7. Located in the prestigious upper Moonridge area, three blocks to Bear Mountain ski area. It’s a beautifully decorated, upscale, modern, newer house with a full kitchen. Home has many extra amenities. Many large windows show off gorgeous "picture" views of the thick forest and scenic mountains! It’s like living up in a “treehouse” one guest told us. Walk to Bear Mountain ski trail (2-3 blocks away). You can walk to golf, hiking and the Moonridge Zoo- only 3 blocks away! The wood burning fireplace is crackling and cozy on cold nights! 2 large balconies and deck have an awesome 180 degree+ view of mountains and lush pine trees. It is a lovely place! We are at 7,500 ft, near the ski area. It’s only a short drive to the lake, village, shopping and many outdoor activities. Semi-private, lg. balconies & deck are surrounded by many lush trees, and a larger, wooded yard. House has two bedrooms/two full baths (sleeps 6-7) - 2 queen beds (1 in each bedroom) and one pull out double bed in the living room. It also has 2 futon chairs that children could sleep in, or possibly one adult could pull together. House is approx. 1200 sq. ft. It’s a nice house, everyone loves it! It’s a great value! |

Summer 2006 is $130/nt. for weekends, $100/nt. for weekdays (non-holiday), $550/wk (non- holiday)., $1850/mo. Fourth of July weekend and Labor Day weekend are each $150/nt., 3 nt. min. Fall is $90/nt. for midweek, $115/nt. for weekends, $475/wk. for a week (non-holiday), $1250/mo. Xmas is $295/nt. Winter 2007 is $195/nt. for weekends, $110/nt. for midweek, $795/wk, $3000/mo. Rates don’t include the Big Bear tax of 6%. $200 security deposit required. There is a $20 check out fee. Deposit is separate from the rental amount. Generally we have a 2 night minimum, except for holidays.

A short drive to the lake (2-3 mi.) You can swim, boat, fish, water-ski, windsurf, parasail, canoe, kayak, jet ski or take a scenic lake cruise. 3 mi. to the quaint village, with many shops, good restaurants, theaters, and arcades. Supermarkets are nearby. Lots of room for kids to play outside, and enjoy the outdoors. There are many scenic hiking trails in the area. Everyone likes it, it's a very nice house! Full kitchen has dishwasher, microwave ,stove, oven, dishes, pots and pans, utensils, silverware, coffee maker, toaster, blender, answering machine, etc. House has washer and dryer, also. It includes VCR, 2 TV’s with cable, 2 phones, driveway parking, stereo, cassette, and CD player. Try out the petting zoo, nature walks, and Lookout Tower. Big Bear is a popular year -round resort area. It hosts ski, boat, and bike races. Nearby you can snow tube, sled, rock climb, snowboard, horseback, ponies, miniature golf, go on bird & nature walks, ski lift to the top of Snow Summit for lunch, ride go-carts, miniature golf, waterski, parasail, swim , bowl, water slide, got to the children’s Discovery Center, the Observatory, marina, Oktoberfest, mtn. bike, regular bike, sightsee, go on alpine slide, trout lake, museum, old mining town, arts and craft festivals, and many other fairs and activities during the year, especially during holidays and high season.
