It would take you 20 minutes tops to get to any part of the CBD from here, whether by tram, car, bike or train. This is probably the best inner suburb in Melbourne, and the apartment is on a great, quiet street.
The apartment is in a small, pleasant block, with one queen bed and one double foldout futon bed, vintage wardrobes and tables, good TV, CD player, w/machine, dryer appliances, Internet, new rugs, crockery, cutlery, linen, towels etc all provided. It's wash-your-own linen for longer stays, and no food is provided.
Overall this is a fantasically located, stylish vintage apartment with everything you need - ideally for visiting academics, people with family in the Royal Children's or Royal Melbourne hospitals, or just those wanting a no-hassles, pleasant and incredibly convenient Melbourne base.
Kids welcome if well behaved; smokers only allowed to smoke on the balcony, with the balcony door closed please.
My body corporate rules forbid dogs but small well behaved pooches and cats may be allowed if we sneak 'em in!

there is a cleaning fee by negotiation for stays over one week; over one month a cleaner will come monthly. All utilities are included unless otherwise arranged, but phone calls are limited to reasonable numbers of local calls. (Long distance can be arranged by prior agreement)
Wheelchair access; there is a slight step and with notice I will put in a ramp. The shower, however, is over the bath, so it's not ideal unless you can get in and out of a bath, sorry.
