You can see Colorado's two highest mountains from the Inn, Mount Elbert and Mount Massive, both over 14,000 feet. The Inn is 2 blocks from The National Mining Museum. Take a tour aboard The Leadville and Colorado Southern Railroad, hike, bike, 4x4 or fish in the summer. Winter is perfect for skiing, with Ski Cooper, Vail and Copper Mountain surrounding us. Cross country ski, snowshoe, snowmobile and take a romantic sleigh ride.
