Bearskin Romance is nestled high up in the mountains and is secluded just enough to forget about your daily routine while still being close to town. This one bedroom loft cabin with two bathrooms has a queen sleeper in the great room with another in the game room so you can sleep 6.
Details make Bearskin Romance special. A fully equipped kitchen with all full size appliances is fully stocked with all the utensils and dishware for your stay. An Amish handmade hickory and oak dining table blends perfectly with the mountain lodge décor of this cabin.
Relaxing in the hot tub on the first floor screened deck is the perfect way to relax day or night. At dusk, flip on the "twinkle" lights overhead for a great evening under the “stars” and relax in private comfort. Another deck is just out back with log rockers and a charcoal grill.
The great room has a floor to ceiling stone gas fireplace and cathedral ceiling that sets the perfect mood. There is a queen sleeper sofa, lazy chair with ottoman, Amish hickory end tables and coffee table and an Amish hickory and oak rocker. Enjoy your favorite movie on the plasma TV on the great room wall. With a satellite TV package that includes High Definition programming, HBO, Showtime and a host of other channels you will never be without something to watch. If you bring your favorite DVD just put it in the player and you will enjoy sound from a 600 watt 5.1 surround sound system. Be sure to look overhead above the sofa and near the ceiling to see “Bubba” our resident 5 ft tall “pot bellied” black bear who keeps watch over the cabin with two cubs.
At the top of a beautiful log stairway is the bedroom loft with a huge King Aspen Log bed, whirlpool tub, full bathroom, two log armoires, log nightstands, 30” widescreen TV and an AM/FM stereo CD that plays mpeg files. You will love the view at the floor to ceiling window overlooking the mountains. In winter months you can see the lights on one of Ober Gatlinburg's Ski Runs.
The lower third level is a huge game room decorated in a lodge theme and has plenty to enjoy with a full size slate and oak pool table, air hockey, 27” HD TV, Play Station 2, wet bar, mini fridge, high powered integrated sound system with subwoofer, sleeper sofa and another covered deck. Hours of fun and entertainment are ready for you to enjoy.
