This 3 year old log cabin with lodge decor was designed with 2 families in mind. Along with having a great view, the cabin is located on 12 acres that abutt the headwater of the Toe River. This property is left in its natural state so that you can enjoy the many trails that make up the grounds.
The cabin is so luxurious, you will want to come back every year. There are two deluxe master bedrooms with king size beds. One of the bathrooms has a dual-head shower with beautiful genuine rock walls on two sides! Walk up the stairs to the loft that has a double bed, a twin bed, and a set of bunks. While you enjoy the rustic charm of this home, you will appreciate the modern conveniences in this kitchen. The living room has a welcoming wood-burning stone fireplace. Just out the two french doors you will find the upper deck.
Down the stairs, the entertainment really begins. The family room in this log cabin has a pool table, TV, VCR, fooz ball table, gas stone fireplace (yes, it has two fireplaces!) and wetbar. This room also has a daybed that makes up into two twin beds. There is a full bath on this floor. The large hot tub is located outside the family room on the lower deck.
This great cabin is about 8 1/2 miles from the ski slopes on Sugar Mtn and 12 miles to Ski Beech. The location is less than 10 miles to Grandfather Mountain, Blue Ridge Parkway, Wild Cat Lake and Sugar Mountain Golf Course. The home's location on Hickory Nut Gap Road is on the N.C. Bicycle Route. This location is great for those in training or just enjoying road biking. Many other attractions and activities are nearby.
