The living room is very comfortable and you will enjoy relaxing in front of the gas log fireplace that allows you the luxury of a fire anytime with no fuss or bother. The living room also has TV with Satellite as well as a DVD/VCR unit. The sofa opens into a comfortable bed.

The master bedroom has a queen size bed and a fantastic view. The window over the bed is like a painting of the mountains but it is the real thing. This room has a TV with Satellite and a very large bath with walk in closet and a one person Jacuzzi tub. The second bedroom also has a queen bed, a TV with DVD/VCR, and a view of mountains through the sliding door that leads to the huge deck. The third bedroom has a queen bed and a neat glider rocker. The guest bedrooms share a full bath and there is an extra half bath as well.Two of the bedrooms have sliding doors leading to a huge deck with a super view.You can even enjoy the view from the large window over the kitchen sink. With a view like that you probably wouldn't mind washing dishes by hand but the dishwasher is ready to do that for you. The kitchen is fully equipped with a side by side refrigerator with ice and water on the door, a range, the dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker and much more.

You will enjoy the extras in this home like the Jacuzzi whirlpool tub in the master bath. There is a computer suitable for playing games or checking your email with your dial up connection using Boone phone numbers. Or you can enjoy some good old fashioned family fun playing board games that are provided for your enjoyment.

In the winter you will appreciate that this home is an easy drive to either Ski Beech or the Ski Sugar Resort. It is only about a 7-8 mile ride to either.
This home is a great choice for pet owners since it will allow a small or medium size dog. There is a crate provided as well. The owners are dog lovers and their dog, Skye, as well as the beautiful view provided the inspiration for the name Skye's High Vista.

Guests will appreciate the fact that this home has a garage.

This home is located about 3 miles outside of Banner Elk off 194 so it is a short ride to many of the area attractions including those in Valle Crusis in the summer. But the home is so welcoming and comfortable you just might not want to leave!
