Property description
Situated away from crowded tourist tracks, a delightful apartment in Sestriere Dorsoduro, the most authentic neighbourhood of Venice, an exclusive residential area very much appreciated by intellectuals and artists. Here foreign guests have the opportunity to experience first-hand the life-style of Venice. The apartment is close to the long beautiful dock named "Zattere" on the Giudecca Canal, from where you can enjoy wonderful views and a stunning sunset over Venice while sipping a drink in one of the many typical bars.
The light-filled apartment (open plan,70 square meters (753ft2), restored in 2005) which can accommodate up to 4 people, has an open kitchen and a large living room area with a comfortable sofa bed for 2 people downstairs. Upstairs there is a bedroom area with a king-size bed and a small office.
Each floor has a bath with shower.
Amenities include air conditioned, a refrigerator, a stove and a TV. Bedding, towels, cooking equipment are provided.
From the windows there is a lovely view of the Canale di San Nicolò and typical gothic palaces. Also a few steps away from the apartment you'll find a well-stocked supermarket, a bakery, a fresh fruit and vegetable shop, and numerous bars and little restaurants.
*Please note that smoking is not allowed in the apartment.
15 minutes walking from the railway station, 10 minutes from Piazzale Roma (where the buses from airport arrive), 10 minutes from Gallerie dell'Accademia and Canal Grande, 3 minutes from the stop of public boats to Lido and beaches. It is a no smoking apartment.
