This exciting new log cabin has much more than just the "Bear Necessities"! A 6 person hot tub with stereo is on the deck and a new combination foosball/air hockey/miniature pool table is ready for kids of all ages. and you will appreciate the high speed Internet hookup for your laptop.
The attention to detail is truly remarkable in this "bear-y" wonderful cabin. As you enter on the main level, the kitchen section of the greatroom is to your left. Here, all the appliances from the ceramic-top stove to the built in microwave, are a rich bear black color. The large rustic dining table is perfect for this area. The stone fireplace in the opposite corner is the focal point of the room. You can enjoy a fire whenever you wish since it has a gas log insert. You'll love the window that seems to have lots of bears looking at you. Don't worry--they can't come in.
There are three TV's with satellite and a DVD player in this cabin. The main TV is located above the fireplace and each bedroom has its own TV as well.
You'll think Papa Bear built the log twin beds in the bedroom on the main level. The mattresses are extra thick and luxurious so you will sleep like a baby bear under snuggly bear comforters after a day spent in our invigorating mountain air. The hall style bath is accessible from the bedroom and the greatroom.The master bedroom with a king sized log bed is up the stairs. Here too, the mattress is the thickest and nicest available. The second bath is also on this level.
The large back deck with the hot tub is partially covered so you can sit out there in any kind of weather. This home is unusual, too, because it has a real back yard with lots of rhododendrons and the cheery sound of a nearby creek. There is a firepit so you can have a "campfire" and enjoy some "smores".
In the winter you will find that this cabin is located about 5 miles from Ski Sugar. It is also handy to many local attractions such as Grandfather Mountain and Linville Caverns.
