Property description
At the slopes of the green hills separating Lucca from Pisa is to be found one of Lucca's famous manors " Villa Cheli", restored in 18th.Century style, but going back to the 13th Century.
Guido Cheli was a gifted artist and lived here until his death in 1966. He left many busts in plaster to be admired in the house.
It offers several comfortable and spacious guest rooms with decorated furnishing and wrought iron beds. The private bathrooms are luxurious.
In the annex Casolare, the former farm houses, available with some studio-apartments for 2 to 4 people, with an efficient and well equipped kitchenette, the furnishing is solid in rustic style and the bathroom is modern, some apartments have a private terrace.
A swimming pool is still in planning, but it is possible to use the marvellous pool of our sister hotel Villa Rinascimento at 4 km.
Information of any kind i.e. shopping, trekking, excursions. Etc. is available.
And on request in the low season I organize Italian conversation- and cooking lessons up to 6 people.
To interest the naturalists, the area has a mix of alpine and mediterranean vegetation.
