The Relais Saint Biagio (Historical Residence) rises in the heart of the Umbria, in the Park of the Mount Subasio close Nocera Umbra, the famous and very known Italian capital of mineral waters, but also very close to Assisi. One of the first documents found about the old canonical “Saint Ecclesie Blasii” go back to the beginning of 1300; so after centuries of normal use by Benedictins, it fell in disuse and in a state of abandonment in the last part of the years '700, but recently it has been brought back to its ancient splendor with one sage and loving restoration work lasted more than 10 years. Today Relais Saint Biagio is a structure of complete and refined acceptance, dipped in the quiet of umbrian hills at approximately 700 meters of altitude over the sea level. From its favourable and dominant position,in the center of of a property of more than 30 hectares of land and forests, it seems you could embrace Assisi (20 km), Gubbio (25 km), Gualdo Tadino (10 km) and the entire surrounding valley. The passion and history of the people who have been dedicated themselves to let reborn this ancient monastery have given life to a special place, where harmony and beauty melt in one magical natural frame. The Relais Saint Biagio is a perfect place that invites to the rest, to the discovery of tastes of this genuine land but also for the well-being; so the “cure” of the body and the harmony of the spirit. Dipped in the richest territory for historical, artistic and natural suggestions it is the center-point of ideal departure for tourist distances like Assisi, Gubbio, Spello, but at the same time very close to other jewels of historical and naturalistic beauty as Perugia, Spoleto, Todi Orvieto, Urbino and San Marino. So together with one of our operators it is possible to organize thematic routes based on own particular interests. The Relais Saint Biagio offers the possibility to stay in twelve Superior double rooms disposed on three floors, together with others four double-rooms in the “padronale” joining villa. The kind of furnishment, from the essential and refined design, are well integrated with the architecture and they exalt the force and the sobriety, inviting to relax in peace and listen to the “silence”.

In the old benedictin-refectory, now transformed in a elegant restaurant together with its panoramic terraces, the respect of the tradition becomes rediscover of scents and “ancient” taste also with the use of meats only coming from our breedings of cows (Chianina) and porks (the famous black pig), eating directly on our fields in complete liberty. Ours selection of cold meats like salami ham etc…, are handcrafted here on the spot and they are stored in our wine cellars for the longer time they need to became a “special product”. A careful cure and a particular dedication are both taken either in the phase of production, as in the delicate phase of transformation, allows us to offer an advanced quality on every single product we produce: from pastes to oils, cheeses to the salami to the another prestigious product our home-made beer. It has been a kind of inspiration to us from the secular “monks tradition” of the masters brewers, the laboratory for this home-made production of beer allows the hosts to travel back in time, in order to rediscover the forgotten flavours of this ancient kind of drink.
For meeting and business facilities like formations courses and various kind of activities Relais Saint Biagio has a hall from 150 places.
