Property description

The Alling House Bed and Breakfast has a separate 600 sq. ft. Frontier Cottage that has a fully-equipped kitchen with refrigerator, microwave, sink and stove. There is also a washer/dryer unit. It has a private bathroom with a large shower. It is equipped with an impressive king-sized western bed and a queen hide-a-bed couch. The cottage has cable TV with DVD/VCR electric fireplace and two-person jet tub. Since there is a kitchen in the cottage, breakfast in the main house is not included, but it can be arranged at additional cost.

We are 45-75 minutes from the major Florida tourist theme parks. Daytona Beach and the Speedway are 30-40 minutes away and New Smyrna Beach is 30 minutes away. Historic downtown DeLand and its many antique shops is 5 miles away with the DeLand Airport being nearby and available for skydiving and hot air balloon rides. Blue Spring State Park and the St. John's River are 3 miles away. Many, many people come to see the manatees that spend the winter in Blue Spring. We have arrangements with many local restaurants and businesses that give our guests discounts on goods and services. We can arrange for golf outings, dinner cruises and hot air balloon rides.
