The resorts of Denia and Javea are a 10 minute drive from La Sella and both have fabulous beaches, pavement cafes, bars, restaurants and interesting shops.
The coast to the north, from Denia to Gandia, offers 20 kms of superb, wide, sandy beaches that reach the 'Blue Flag' standard whilst to the south you will find rugged cliffs, rocky coves and picturesque resorts such as Javia , Moraira, Calpe and Altea.
The beautiful city of VALENCIA with its historical and cultural attractions including the architectural wonders of the Science Park and L'OCEANOGRAFIC, the largest marine aquarium in Europe lies an hour to the north.
To the South the great family attractions of AQUALANDIA water theme park, MUNDOMAR the animal water park and TERRA MITICA, one of Europe's largest family theme parks, are all less than an hour away.
Vergel,10 kms to the North, has a wonderful family zoo that is very Spanish and ideall for the younger end of the family.
