Built in 1895, this award-winning Victorian cottage style bed and breakfast has been welcoming guests since 1917. Only a 3 minute walk to the beach, it is located on a dead end street in an historic neighborhood. It is close to many restaurants, 3 museums, the Virginia Beach Fishing Pier and all the resort activity - yet calmer and quieter. Antiques, hand-made quilts, and Victorian decor, but with all the modern conveniences, including central air conditioning and heat, property-wide WIFI and guest computer and business center. Complimentary snacks and hot and cold beverages are available 24/7; fresh beach towels provided daily, use of beach chairs, umbrellas, and boogie-boards for wave riding; bicycles; extensive libraries of books and DVDs; rockers and wicker furniture on the 2-story wrap-around porches. Rooms have stereo AM/FM/CD clock radios with MP3 input; hair dryers; make-up mirrors; luxurious linens; fluffy towels; Turkish spa robes; and up-scale amenities. Three rooms have queen beds and private baths (two with jetted tubs) and two rooms share a bath across the hall - one with king bed and the other with either two twins or Euro-king bed.
