Property description
At Ashpit Place we offer you a choice of two comfortably furnished rooms, one is a queen room with spa bath en suite, the other a super king or twin room. Both rooms have tea and coffee making facilities also TV and amazing views over Lake Rerewhakaaitu. Our spacious modern home overlooking Lake Rerewhakaaitu to the south and Mt Tarawera to the north is situated on a 24 hectare block which is a run-off to our Dairy farm. Rerewhakaaitu is a quiet rural area surrounded by dairy farms and forestry. Lake Rerewhakaaitu is a beautiful clean lake which is popular for trout fishing, water skiing, jet skiing, swimming etc. If you are interested in having dinner with us, I can do 3 course meals with wine which brings the daily charge to $250NZ, or if you would prefer just a main meal I can do it for $220NZ daily charge (per couple). I just need to know a little in advance if you would require dinner. Ashpit Place is within close proximity to Waiotapu Thermal Wonderland and also Waimangu Thermal Reserve, both of which I would recommend a visit.

Ashpit Place offers panoramic views of Lake Rerewhakaaitu and Mt Tarawera, and forestry and farming vistas, from the lounge and dining areas with some of the best sunsets in the world. The boundaries of the property are on the lake edge.
At Lake Rerewhakaaitu you can trout fish anytime and walk on the tracks available around the lake at your leisure.
Rotorua has 15 fishable lakes plus myriad rivers and streams where you can fish for trout.
Ashpit Place offers two rooms:
One room with a queen bed, ensuite, two-person spa bath, shower over spa, vanity, hair drier and toilet
One room with the option of king or twin beds plus ensuite with shower, vanity, hair drier and toilet.
