The original farm cottage and converted out-buildings date back to the early 1880s. Twin Gullies offers two self contained units each with loft accommodation.
From the upstairs bedrooms of the Stable and the Barn there are spectacular views across the garden and rolling farmland, on to Barrys Bay and Onawe Peninsula and out to the Akaroa Heads. |

There are a number of good tracks and some breathtaking sights.
If you are feeling fit and want to stay in the area, after your stay with us try the Banks Peninsula Track.
During summer, there is good swimming at both Wainui and Tikao Bay.
Okains Bay has an excellent Colonial Museum and a lovely white sand beach and you can have a Devonshire tea in Little Akaloa, at Chorlton Hall.
If you fancy a drink and a meal The Duvauchelle Bistro is only 3 minutes away, or you could head round to French Farm Winery for a special lunch. Also close by is an excellent golf course and club hire can be easily arranged.
Only 12 minutes away, Akaroa offers all sorts of attractions. It has a variety of gift shops, galleries, cafes, bars and restaurants.
There is also a great museum, bank, bakery, chemist, supermarket and intriguing old General Store.
Akaroa has a centrally located Information Centre where you can get heaps of help on what to do and where to go.
A scenic harbour cruise is a must, and the chance to swim with dolphins a unique and exhilarating experience that has been enjoyed by many of our guests. |
