Property description
Forming part of a 3 storey building situated in a quite residential area , this first floor apartment offers pleasant accommodation with spectacular vistas over one of the most picturesque towns in the world with far-reaching views over the Gulf of Salerno.
Guests can enjoy that view to the full from the covered terrace, which lies in front of the accommodation. The rooms are comfortably furnished throughout .
The bustling town of Amalfi is within easy walking distance of the villa (approximately 1,5 kilometer away) and is a delight to explore, with its lively narrow streets, its churches, numerous restaurants and cafes, shops and beaches .
From free roadside parking , 103 steps via a scenic and ancient pathway, with night lighting , leads to the apartment's entrance . We highly recommend not having a car as roadside parking can be difficult but a car is not necessary here as public transport is very good. However, if you have a car, you can use a local garage down in Amalfi town center at a cost of Euro 18 per day , plus a charge of Euro 3 each time you enter / exit the town center, both to be paid locally .
There is a SITA Bus stop just at the bottom of stairs , which make it easy and cheap to travel around the area. Although 1,5 kilometer away by car, guests can choose to enjoy a 10 minutes scenic walk by taking the steps to the town centre , which are long and shallow rather than steep and are easy to negotiate.
Accommodation ( 100 sq.m interior + 20 sq. m. terraces)
Hallway with access into a light and airy sitting/dining room having doors out to the terrace . The room is furnished with dining table (seating up to 6 people), a comfortable 3 seater leather sofa, two armchairs and TV .
From the hallway, a small corridor takes to the kitchen , a full bathroom , 2 double bedrooms and a separate sitting room with door to the terrace and a divan- bed which , on request, provides two sleeping places for an additional fee of €150 per week, payable locally.
Kitchen equipment includes a four-burner stove, an oven, a fridge, a toaster , a dining table, and a washing machine. It has also doors to the rear of the house .
Next to the kitchen is a bathroom with bath with shower attachment , WC, wash basin, etc. and a double bedroom with doors to the rear of the house and an en-suite small bathroom with WC and wash basin but no shower or bath.
The second bedroom has a double bed and glass doors which opens to a covered patio having an angle furnished with stone benches and a table with chairs .
From the covered patio, large glass door opens to the terrace which has a splendid view of the sea and of Amalfi. The terrace is equipped with table and chairs for outdoor meals.

Here there is also the quay to board ferries or rent boats to visit the coast from the sea and reach Positano, Capri, Sorrento, Ischia, Naples and Salerno.
SITA Bus stop to Positano, Sorrento or Amalfi town center is just at the bottom of the steps.
