Cosy holiday cottages set right on the banks of the Millstream.
Our 5 acre property is bounded by water on three sides and is dominated by magnificent and stately Rose Gums (Eucalyptus grandis), which are home to a myriad of wildlife. Don and Jane, your hosts, invite you to join them in a cuppa, on their verandah to watch the flocks of Crimson Rosellas and King Parrots feed daily. These are just 2 of the 74 identified species on our bird list.
The cottages are fully equipped for self catering, including a BBQ on your verandah, however, if cooking is a chore then why not take advantage of our dining room where 3 course Table d'hote evening meals at AU$25.00 per head and breakfast at AU$12.50 are available.
Our unobtrusive hospitality ensures your privacy, peace and tranquillity - (you're pampered, not pestered!) You can sip your complimentary port & sherry by the cosy wood fire.( a wood fire in the tropics? Yes - it gets cool up here in the Highlands!) and enjoy our delicious home made hot muffins delivered fresh to you each morning. Fresh flowers and home made cookies are just a part of your Millstream Retreat experience. Even your pooch is pampered. Doggy treats are standard fare when you bring your best friend!

Less than 2 hours from Cairns, on the Atherton Tablelands, our guests can escape the summer heat of the coast or enjoy the cosy wood fire in the winter.
Centrally located to all the attractions of the Tablelands and Outback, Don & Jane are happy to arrange tours and forward booking if required.
