Historic quintessential country inn, The Sedgwick Inn sits on twelve sweeping, wooded acres in the scenic Taconic Valley. Two-hundred fifteen-year-old Colonial Inn is a true New England gem with a certain old-world ambiance located at the foot of majestic Berkshire Mountains. The Inn has a romantic restaurant, and coach room tavern with capacity of 100. Inn’s 5 bedrooms (1- double bed, 2- queen beds, 1- king bed, a two room suite with queen bed) have private baths. All rooms in the main house are furnished with antiques. Tucked behind a carriage house is a six-room motel, tastefully furnished with Colonial-style furniture.
Nothing has to be done at the Sedgwick, yet there is always something to do. Wander about the antique-filled main house. Explore the shelves of our well- stocked library. Discover a bit of history and examine the property's original indentures, dated 1791 and signed by Van Rensselaer, which are proudly displayed in the main house.
