Property description
The house sits on the side of a mountain - Monte del Almendros (Mountain of Almonds), Salobrena overlooking the coast to the right and the Sierra Nevada to the left. As you will appreciate there are stairs up to the property, so the house is not recommended for elderly or wheelchairs users. Whilst the house has its own pool there are also another two pools, tennis court and facilities which guests can use which are part of the urbanisation. The House: Bedroom one has a double bed and ensuite facilities, which include bath, shower, wc, bidet and two sinks. There are double doors out onto the terrace with wonderful views of the coast and Sierra Nevada. Bedroom two has a double bed and also has double doors out onto the Terrace with the beautiful views. Bedroom three has two single beds. There is air-conditioning in every room.
There is a separate bathroom with bath, shower, wc, bidet and two sinks. Kitchen fully equipped with electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave, washing machine, and toaster. The lounge has two sofas, woodburner, Telephone, CD/Radio, DVD, Tape recorder and video. There is also satellite TV. It also has three large picture windows and patio doors out to the terrace. The property is cleaned before you arrive, but should you require further cleaning during your stay, this can be arranged locally at an extra charge. Towels and bedlinen are provided.
There is a built in BBQ on the terrace, with sun beds, tables and chairs etc. Also. a 7m x 3m private pool which is on a separate terrace and for guests use only. The pool is heated by solar panels and is gated for safety.

Additional information
Coast/Beach. Five minutes drive to the beach (can be viewed from the terrace). There are a wide selection of beaches, private coves and there is a Aqua Park for children in Almunecar. There are also Caves which are in Nerja which again is just a short drive from the house. Granada is about a 45minute drive where you can visit the Alhambra and lunch in this wonderful city.
Golf: The local 9 hole golf course is 5 mins away. It is right by the sea and has a very nice restaurant which welcomes visitors.
Skiing: The Sierra Nevadas are approximately 70 mins drive away and offer excellent facilities, equipment hire, restaurants, hotels and a good selection of runs suitable for beginners and experienced skiers.
Travel: Malaga airport is approximately 70 mins away. Excellent road access to the airport but essential to have a car.
Distances: Alumencar is 15 mins drive. This is a very Spanish town with a little more night life and activity. Motril is 10 mins drive, a spanish working town and worth a wander around. Granada 45 mins drive, a lovely place to explore with lots of moorish influence and of course the Alhambra to visit. It is also possible to drive to both Seville and Cordoba.
