Property description
A real paradise, the Quinta faces south and sits above a mosquito free lake with its gardens stretching down to the water, whose temperature during the summer averages 28ºC (82ºF). (There is the possibility of renting half of it as a fully furnished, centrally heated, self-catering villa, with rooms on two floors.) There is a sauna and various boats included in anyone's stay. The rooms are uncluttered, clean, cool and comfortable and all have large bathrooms.

Andorinha as the Honeymoon Suite
Andorinha is the Quinta's largest Double en suite room and has a private terrace as well as central heating and a wood burning stove, and is charged as follows:
120 euros in Low Season, (November to March - excluding New Year)
145 euros in Mid Season, (April 1st to July 10th and September 7th to October 31st)
190 euros in High Season, (July 11th to September 6th)
Single occupancy for this room is charged as follows:
80 euros in Low Season
135 euros in Mid Season
180 euros in High Season
Family Suites
The Quinta has two Family Suites.
The cheaper option is Andorinha, the Quinta's most spacious double, and its attendant very small room, (when we say small we mean miniscule... it's big enough for the bunk bed and not a lot else!), and this is priced the same as "Andorinha as a Honeymoon Suite", (please see above), with either one or two extra beds, depending upon the number of children involved. This option is ideal for those with younger families as one can shut the door of the private terrace outside and have privacy as well as heightened security for toddlers.
The second option is the two rooms Javali and Borbaleta, which interlink through a shared bathroom; these two rooms are larger than our normal double or twin rooms and the bathroom is again larger with both a bath and a separate shower. It also has Disabled Facilities. Even though these two rooms are larger than normal, the price for this option is simply the same as for two doubles.
Other
Every room price is calculated as being for two people. Extra beds on top of this are 30 euros at any time of year (not including cots). A bunk bed filled by two children counts as two extra beds; with just a single child, surprise surprise, it counts as one ...
All the prices shown above include breakfast and the use of canoes, sailing boats, pedaloes and sauna.
Our minimum stay is two nights.

Deposits are needed to reserve any room at the Quinta.
The standard deposit is 25% with a minimum of the equivalent of 2 night's stay. Once accepted, this deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable except in exceptional cases and cancellations within a week prior to arrival incur the full cost of the nights reserved.
Additional information
Breakfast is included in your stay. The Quinta has a professional chef in residence and most diets can be catered for. A good deal of the fresh produce comes from the organic garden and the cooking style is "International Home Cooking".
There is a Professional Birdwatching Guide in residence and Day Trips or half Day Walks can be organised easily. Gt Bustards are a speciality!
