Immaculate and welcoming, The Brick Path Bed and Breakfast and Guest Suites is located in North Berkeley, just around the corner from Solano Avenue, one of Berkeley's bustling neighborhood shopping areas, and approximately two miles from The University of California.

The Brick Path offers three unique, non-smoking accommodations: The Master Bedroom Suite, The Fireplace Room and, for longer stays, The Cottage. Guests will enjoy the serenity of the beautiful yard and gardens, an easy and convenient location, and hearty continental breakfasts tailored to their dietary preferences.

All rooms and suites have modern private baths, separate guest entrances, private telephones/answering machines, cable TV/VCRs, AM/FM radios, individulally controlled heat, hair dryers, and exceptionally comfortable queen-size beds from European Sleepworks. Laundry facilities are available for guests’ use.

Description of Rooms:

THE MASTER BEDROOM: (Sleeps two) The Master Bedroom is traditional in style, decorated in warm tones, Persian carpets, woods and wicker. Guests arrive through the gated garden to a separate entrance and backyard deck.

The comfortable bedroom has a queen size European Sleepworks bed and a sitting area. The kitchenette includes a microwave, toaster oven, small refrigerator and coffee maker. A large and luxurious bathroom has a Jacuzzi tub, separate shower, and two sinks.

THE FIREPLACE ROOM: (Sleeps two) Elegant and refined, The Fireplace Room is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a glass of wine, good food, good music and good books. Attractively appointed with ebony woods, Persian carpet, rich reds and maroons, soft whites and creams.

Special features include a crackling gas fireplace, lots of windows, a queen-size European Sleepworks bed, and a beautiful old piano for you to enjoy! Whether relaxing in front of the fire, window-shopping on Solano Avenue, visiting family and friends, or eating breakfast in the garden, The Fireplace Room is an ideal getaway.

THE COTTAGE: (Sleeps two to four) "East meets West” in this spacious and secluded studio cottage. Decorated with an Asian influence, The Cottage is light and airy with high ceilings, lots of windows, and natural woods. It has a queen size European Sleepworks bed, a futon couch that pulls out to sleep two, and a full kitchen.

With its entrance along an inviting garden path and own enclosed patio, The Cottage offers privacy and peaceful surroundings – an ideal retreat amidst the gentle urban bustle of this desirable neighborhood.
