Property description
PILLOWERY PARK is an ecofriendly timber frame highly insulated house, designed and built by Chris West in 2000 and is now run as a B&B with his wife Slyvia. There are solar panels to pre-heat the water, rainwater flushed toilets, underfloor heating and a high standard of fittings and decoration. It is a short walk from the timeless and unique village of Clovelly.
All rooms have tea and coffee tray with wine glasses and opener. Also there is a hairdryer and an alarm clock radio.
There is plenty of parking to the front of the house and there is a baby grand piano in the dining room which guests are encouraged to play.
Chris trained as a chef before becoming a builder so you can be sure of a hearty breakfast before you explore the wonders of North Devon.
The accommodation consists of - One double bedded room with an ensuite shower room and views across the fields to the Bristol Channel, Bideford bay and Wales [on a good day!].
- Two twin bedded rooms, both with separate private shower rooms, 1 with sea views and both with views across the unspoilt Devon countryside.
The house is strictly Non Smoking and there are no facilities for pets.
Payment can be made by most Credit or Debit cards.
We can transfer luggage to your next stop if you are walking the Coast Path.

We are a short walk from the 630 miles [1,000 kilometers] of the South West Coast Path and the timeless ancient village of Clovelly.
The are numerous lovely gardens in the area including the Royal Horticultural Gardens of Rosemoor. Small beaches abound as well as the sands at Westward Ho!
The secluded Island of Lundy is only 1 hour away by small boats from Clovelly harbour.
At nearby Hartland Quay the scenery is stunning and open to the Atlantic gales, at times.
The Milky Way amusement park is just a mile away for all day entertainment in wet weather.
