LOCATION
Villa Parthenon is situated only 5 minutes' walk from the beach in the verdant private community of Costambar, offering a peaceful and relaxing oasis beside the Atlantic Ocean, and yet only around 4 miles to downtown Puerto Plata, or to the tourist resort of Cofresi. Puerto Plata's International Airport (POP) is only about half an hour's taxi ride away, and is well served by both scheduled and charter carriers. The new Santiago airport with additional flights to U.S.A. is only 90 minutes drive away.
AT HOME
The Bedrooms are each over 400 square feet and equipped with A/C, ceiling fan AND Cable T.V. Two bedrooms have king size beds , two have queen size beds, and two bedrooms each have 2 double beds. All have ensuite bathrooms with oval corner tub, shower, W.C., bidet and double handbasins.
The Great Room offers an exceptional communal living space of over 1,000 square feet, with fully equipped kitchen, dining area, and lounge area with Cable T.V. Apart from the natural tropical breezes, this room may also be cooled by A/C or ceiling fans.
On the Garden Terrace, guests can enjoy the oval-shaped Freshwater Pool or the total relaxation of unwinding amongst the luxuriant palm trees. Tables, chairs and sunloungers are also provided.
Cleaning service is provided six days a week, and linen and towels are changed twice weekly.

Only around 20 minutes drive away is the tourist village of Playa Dorada, with its 18 Hole Golf Course designed by Robert Trent Jones, International Casinos and Discos, and Shopping Centre with 3-Screen Cinema. Just outside Playa Dorada, you come to the GoKart Track at "Fun City" . Just keep on the same road for another 20 minutes and you come to the Waterpark in Sosua, centre for all Underwater Sports. The famous Windsurfing and Kitesailing at Cabarete Beach, is only about another 15 minutes drive down the main North Coast road.
Horseback Riding or Professional Massage Service can be ordered right to the front door.
