Property description
Our semi-detached bungalow is in a private road in Flamingo Hills, a residential area about six kilometres south of Torrevieja, on the southern Costa Blanca.
It is about an hour's drive from Alcante Airport, but only half an hour from Murcia-San Javier Airport.
The bungalow consists of a large lounge with adjoining fitted kitchen, a double bedroom and a second with two single beds, and a bathroom.
Thjre is also a double sofa-bed in the lounge.
Outside, at ground level, is an enclosed patio with stairs leading to the sun terrace, which covers the whole house.
The community swimming pool is 50 metres away.
It is a walk of about twenty minutes to the nearest beaches, while there are shops, restaurants and bars at several locations within a few hundred metres.
There are several large supermarkets about a kilometre away on the main N332 highway, and a large Saturday street market a similar distance away.

Additional information
Orihuela Costa is a modern residential area by the sea. There are several shopping centres, with supermarkets, bars and restaurants. There are a number of beaches, linked by a coastal walk.
Torrevieja ( 6 kilometres ) is a bustling town, with many shops, a long promenade, beaches, parks, museums and an international marina. The La Mata salt-pans natural park is a haven for birds, with other bird-watching areas further north at Santa Pola and to the south at Lo Pagan.
The area to the south of Orihuela Costa is a golfer's paradise, with a championship course at Villamartin and two other courses at Campoamor and Las Ramblas.
Twenty miles to the south is the unique inland sea of Mar Menor, linked to the Mediterranean only by small fishermen's inlets, and no more than six metres deep.
The city of Elche, internationally renowned for its palm forest; Orihuela, with its fine Old Quarter; Alicante, with excellent views from the dominating castle; Murcia, with one of Spain's most beautiful cathedrals and excellent shops: and Cartagena are all within easy driving distance, although parking in the cities can be difficult.
