The Covered Bridge Inn is situated on a private tree-lined street in the Highlands about 15 minutes west of Downtown Victoria, British Columbia and approximately half an hour's drive from the Swartz Bay Ferry Terminal or the Victoria International Airport.
At the Covered Bridge Inn you have the best of both worlds : closeness to most activities and a serene country setting. It is located in the Highlands, a unique greenbelt area within the 6-mile circle of downtown. The Highlands was incorporated in 1993 in order to preserve much of the land as green space. The Highlands contains one Class A Provincial Park, two Regional, and three Municipal Parks within its borders and is enclosed by Thetis Lake and Francis King Parks to the southwest. The surrounding lots range between from 5 to 100 acres thus keeping the area truly rural. Highlands roads are shared with cyclists, joggers, hikers, horseback riders and wildlife. The Covered Bridge Inn is located on 2/3 of an acre on the edge of a 100 acre retreat centre. You can enjoy the country atmosphere yet still be within walking distance of waterslides, mini-golf, go-carts and stores and restaurants.
