Conveniently located amongst the gum trees in the picturesque Coromandel Valley, "The Gums" Bed & Breakfast is just 30 minutes south of Adelaide CBD. The Garden View Room, with a comfy double bed, private ensuite and guest entrance, looks out onto a beautiful garden setting and offers complete relaxation. Close to attractions of Adelaide CBD, the Adelaide Hills, the Fleurieu Peninsula with its McLaren Vale wineries, and the beaches, "The Gums" is ideally placed for easy touring. A true haven in the hills, rejuvenating the spirit with its surrounds and indulging the body with its chocolate (gourmet confectionery from "Simply Irresistible Sweets" is handmade here).
For nature lovers, "The Gums" has abundant birdlife and a mixture of native trees and shrubs and exotics. Plenty of seating dotted around the garden just to relax and enjoy. The Weinstadl Restaurant and Duck Inn are close handy and there are plenty of eating places in Blackwood and Belair.
Produce from the garden is also included in the breakfast when in season.

Easy access to the city by bus or train from Blackwood Station (transport to and from the station is provided). Several golf courses in the area (Belair, Blackwood and Flagstaff Hill) as well as wineries mostly located in the McLaren Vale area. Not far from the spectacular views of Adelaide from Windy Point. Half an hour from Brighton Beach.
