Ores & Mine Bed and Breakfast is located only 500 feet from the shore of Twin Lakes, which is Colorado's largest glacial lake. Twin Lakes is also surrounded by six of Colorado's highest majestic mountains including Mt. Elbert, which is Colorado's highest at 14,433 feet.
We offer a rustic setting with a decor reminiscent of the early 1900's mining era but also providing the comforts of modern day. Ores & Mine features five bedrooms, each named after a well-known gold or silver mine in the area.
With the many activities available here and in the surrounding area, your stay at Ores & Mine can be as relaxing or as adventurous as your mood requires.

During your stay you can enjoy many activities in the Twin Lakes area. Mountain biking, rafting, boating, fishing, and jet skiing are all activities that visitors enjoy during their stay at Ores & Mine.
Hike Mt. Elbert, Colorado's highest peak, the trail head is only 2 miles away. There are also many jeep trails in the area for great scenic and fun filled adventures.
Take a trip over Independence Pass to get breathtaking views of the colorful colorado scenery. The pass is open from late spring to early winter.
Ores & Mine is also centrally located with great access to some of the areas best ski resorts.
