A historic colonial farmhouse located near Mystic, Connecticut. A restored 1740 home in central southeastern Ct, featuring the original open hearth and beehive oven, six working fireplaces, original wood flooring and woodwork. The Inn is a bed and breakfast that blends the charm of yesterday with the comforts of today.
Four well appointed guest rooms with a queen size bed, modern private bath, sitting area and central air conditioning. Three of our guest rooms has a working fireplace and the forth has a whirlpool tub. Wake up each morning to a full breakfast served by candlelight in the Keeping Room. Over four acres of gardens, lawns and cattail marsh beckon you to stroll, bird watch, relax on the porch, or take a nap in the hammock.
The Inn at Lower Farm is a perfect respite in the heart of away from it all. Yet only minutes away are historic Mystic, Stonington Village and Westerly, RI with its acclaimed beaches. Or should you like to try your luck Foxwoods and the Mohegan Sun Casinos are close by.
