Property description

There is a also a private lounge and a library at our guests disposal.

We welcome guests with warmth and friendliness, while always respecting their privacy.

Additional information

AROUND OUR B&B:

The small and picturesque village of Cupramontana originally founded in the 6th century BC (historic churches & the only wine label museum in the world), is located just outside one of Italy’s best regional parks, which has the Frasassi Caves, the largest natural caves in Europe .

There are other interesting historic towns such as Staffolo, Cingoli (also called ‘The balcony of Le Marche) and the medieval walled town of Jesi with its renowned Theatre Pergolesi which hosts an excellent variety of Opera, ballet and classical music concerts.

Near the B&B there are ancient sites which are well worth a visit, such as: L’Eremo dei Frati Bianchi (White Friars’ hermitage) built in the 15th century; La Chiesa di San Giacomo della Romita built in the 13th and L’Abbazia Del Beato Angelo an abbey dating from at least 1180.

Every year Cupramontana hosts a very important wine festival called La Sagra dell’uva, held at the beginning of October.

Near Cupramontana you can also visit the city of Macerata with its outdoor Opera Festival in July and August, the town of Fabriano, famous as a producer of paper since the 13th century and Urbino, the birthplace of the famous painter Raffaello.

SHOPPING:

The region is renowned for its shoes, clothes, leather goods and there are a lot of outlets where you can shop at reasonable prices. Some of the famous names are Prada, Tod’s, Della Valle, Cavalli and more.

SEASIDE:

Most of the beaches and coastline on the Adriatic Sea are reachable from our B&B in around 45 minutes.
Just south of Ancona you can reach Mount Conero, a huge striking calcareous rock standing out along the coast to form about 20 kms of coves and bays, including the enchanting Portonovo bay. The sea water here is crystal clear and has the Blue Flag of Europe. The whole area around Mount Conero is protected as a regional park. The ‘Riviera of Conero’ also includes the picturesque resorts of Sirolo, Numana and Marcelli. North of Ancona you can go to the beautiful sea resorts of Pesaro, birthplace of the composer Rossini, Fano and Senigallia with its ‘velvet beach’.

MOUNTAINS:

The Monti Sibillini area is worth a visit. These mountains became a National Park in 1993 and cover a huge area. Some of these mountains reach over 2,ooo meters and there is skiing in Winter.

You can also reach the beautiful towns of Assisi in Umbria (90 km), Gubbio (70 km) and also nearby Tuscany.
